Profile Of Dr. Holbrook-Smith.

Dr. Holbrook-Smith was born in 1947. He attended Achimota School till 1967, UGMS till 1973. He furthered his education at LMMSA London. He is a fellow of both the Royal Colleges of Edinburg and Glasgow. He was HOD Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, he became a member of Both the West African College of Surgeons and the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a former C.E.O of Korle BU Teaching Hospital, Accra.

He is a consultant to FOCUS. Dr. Holbrook-Smith is a member Court of examiners WACS and GCPS. He is president of the West African Orthopaedic Association.

He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association ( BOA) and the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS.)

He is an avid sportsman and was a National High Jump and 110-meter hurdles champion for over a decade. In addition, he was a member of the National Volleyball team.

He is internationally recognized and a Member of the Order of the Volta.
